This very desirable 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe is beautifully finished in a special order color of "Dunkelblau" or Dark Blue (non-metallic). This color, code L347, was previously offered on 911 models from 1985-1990 and was applied to this car via Porsches Paint to Sample program as it was not offered as part of the 993 standard color palette. The cost for this paintwork was an additional $2,995 and was well worth it in my opinion. Additional options on this 911 include Classic Grey Interior in Leather, Full Power Seat-Left, Hi-Fi Sound Package with Speakers, Remote CD Changer (6-Disc), Supple Leather Front and Rear, Porsche Floor Mats and Stainless Steel Exhaust Pipes. Production was completed in October 1997 and it was shipped to Jim Ellis Porsche in Atlanta where it was sold to its first owner on December 12, 1997. The original owner retained the car until October 19, 2016 when he sold it to a dealer with 28,065 miles on the odometer. We have a thick file of service receipts from 1998 to present day and those receipts confirm the first owner's lengthy and careful stewardship of this car that spanned eighteen years.

In addition to an excellent service history, this very desirable final year Porsche 993 is in spectacular condition. The Dunkelblau paintwork, which was applied via a single stage process, is fantastic. It is free of any major scratches or repairs. The texture is factory original and hasn't been color sanded or over buffed. The wheels are fantastic. The interior is in excellent condition and is a slightly darker grey than it appears in the pictures. No modifications whatsoever have been made and the original radio is working perfectly. The underside is truly collector grade and original as well. The rear engine tray, which is often times missing at this point, is in place. The floors are damage free and the suspension is unmodified and well coated in original factory Cosmoline. This is a very good driving example of a rare and desirable specification.
