The Electric Sunroof was a special-order option that was an additional cost of $500 (approximately only 4% to 5% were special ordered with the electric sunroof option).

The Light Ivory paintwork is in stunning condition with excellent gaps and panel fit complimented with beautiful brightwork, black badging, and aluminum trim. The exterior is equipped with a stainless-steel muffler valance, a factory sliding sunroof, driving lights mounted through the horn grills, and flat 6” x 15” Fuchs alloy wheels are fitted with Yokohama Avid Ascend GT 205 60 R15 tires. The interior has Sport Seats upholstered in black vinyl with houndstooth inserts and a factory leather-wrapped steering wheel with a butterfly horn ring positioned in front of VDO instrumentation with a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, electric windows, and a ice cold air conditioning system.

In December of 2012, Chris's German Auto Service in Bellevue, Washington, performed an extensive service totaling over $25,000, leaving no stone unturned. Chain tensioners were updated, and the cam and chain housings were resealed. Cam timing was meticulously checked and adjusted for optimal performance. The muffler and exchangers were removed and re-coated. A new fuel tank and fuel pump were installed. In the cabin, a new headliner was installed along with new front and rear window seals, sunroof seal, and rear window wiring harness. The suspension underwent an overhaul, and the braking system was fully revamped with new brake hoses, calipers, and brake pads. To complete this comprehensive service, new motor mounts were also installed, ensuring a smooth and refined driving experience.

The Excellence Porsche Buyer Guide described it as, "The most desirable model (S)…which is both more sporting and rarer than the T and E.” A show-quality example as well as a dependable road-car, this 911S was displayed at Luftgekühlt in Southern California in April 2019, then driven nearly 1,200 miles back to Seattle, Washington without any issue. Sold by Road Scholars in 2014. The past owner enjoyed and meticulously maintained the 911 as well for nearly a decade. Recent service was done in May of 2021 by Chris's German Auto Service ($3,900 spent) included a major engine tune and air-conditioning service.

Mechanically powered by its matching numbers 2.4L flat-six engine (Type 911/53) producing 190hp with upgraded hydraulic chain tensioners paired to a five-speed manual transmission (Type 915/02) and four-wheel disc braking system. Complete with Classic Technical Certificate, extensive service records from 2012-2022 totaling over $43,000, tool kit, jack, owner's manual, and a spare tire. Relatively very few 2.4L 911S Coupes were produced in 1973, just one of 1,430 were made in total. Their scarcity means these models are always in demand by knowledgeable Porsche enthusiasts, and this example presents a rare opportunity to acquire an excellent 911S with no issues that is ready to enjoy.
